Day 4- Declutter your paper
*I edited my About Page! Please Check it out if you have a moment!*
Welcome to day 4 of The 30 Day Simplify Your Life Challenge! Today I am Decluttering my papers. This includes everything from old college assignments to important documents to receipts.
Since the last time I did the challenge back in 2017, I have been keeping my documents in a file folder so that they are neat and organized, but over time I get lazy and start just shoving things in. If you keep things in a file folder it can be beneficial to go through it every once in a while and reorganize it, especially if you are anything like me.
My guiding questions for today are:
Is this outdated?
Is this damaged?
Is this worth holding onto?
I Started today’s challenge by getting all of my papers out the different places that they have ended up and laid them out on my bed. I spent a while carefully going through them, categorizing them and placing the important ones back in the file folder. Anything that wasn’t still important I shredded and discarded.
Muchelle Recommends keeping all of your papers in one place, so as the last step to today’s challenge I put all of the folders containing papers into a folder holder by my desk so that they are easily accessible and there is no need to just cram things into them anymore.
Tomorrow’s challenge is decluttering your stationary, so please check in for that!
And if you are doing the challenge as well tell me how it is going for you in the comments below!
